Catering is only available on set days. Dinner is available Wednesday to Sunday Night and Breakfast is available daily.

One of the highlights of experiencing an authentic Australian Farmstay must surely be the food. How often do you hear Australians say “I really miss the sort of food my Grandma used to make!”

Well, that’s exactly what you’ll get when you stay with us at Cedar Glen and choose the food options. Taking a well earned break is just not quite as relaxing when you have to think, pack, and cook your own food.  At Cedar Glen, we like to take care of all that for you – not only is it convenient and care-free; it’s really an integral part of the whole experience. All meals are prepared in the kitchen using local farm products wherever possible. Free-range eggs and all meat is from our own farm, and all our desserts are handmade on site.

We don’t aim to be fancy or profess to be something we’re not – instead, we’re all about freshly cooked breakfasts and traditional country style dinners to complete your experience. Locals love reliving the traditional Country fare, while international visitors will be enriched by another aspect of rural culture. You might like to join us for one or more meals during your stay, these can be ordered in advance when you book your stay with us.

If you require gluten free/dairy free or no pork please note on your booking. Please note all meals must be pre-booked, we do not run as a restaurant just as a country kitchen so cannot cook to order. For this reason, the meals are a set menu and the times are strictly followed.

Picnics 

Take a well-deserved break out on the farm lawn and enjoy the view of the paddocks and mountains. Assorted sandwiches, cakes, and seasonal fruit as well as a drink included.

Cheese Boards

Enjoy a cheese board while you wind down and enjoy the view from the farm. Available for pre-booking when making your reservation. 

Cheese boards are available for pick up from the dining room or delivery to you. Picnic rugs are also available on request.
