Homestead tours are held Wednesday to Sunday at 9am cost is $5 per person.
Built in 1901 from timber grown on the property, The Homestead had only ever been occupied by the Stephens family until we began using the house solely for Farmstay purposes in 2000. As was common at the turn of the 20th century, the old Queenslander style houses were built in two sections. This is evident in Cedar Glen Homestead, where the front section is all living area, while the back section houses the kitchen, dining and lounge area. tour runs for approx. 1 hour
Afternoon Animal Encounter Wednesday-Sunday at 4pm cost $15 Adults $10 Children
We have all of the traditional farm animals such as sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, and you get a hands-on feeding experience Afternoon animal encounters includes feeding all the tradition farm animals and the Alpacas and is enjoyed by adults and children alike. feeding runs for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Cedar Glen Caves Hike Wednesday and Saturday 9:30am cost Adults $30 Children over 6 $20
Join us for an unforgettable guided hike to the Cedar Glen Caves. The adventure starts at 9.30am.
We hike up the Mountain and across the valley to explore 5 different caves. Along the way you will discover amazing flora and fauna, and see some spectacular views. This is a moderate hike up a mountain and requires a good fitness level, children must be 6 years old for this hike due to the difficulty level.
Alpaca walks Thursday and Friday 2:30pm cost $45 per Alpaca minimum 2 Alpacas
Get yourself a companion of the alpaca kind an go for a guided walk around the property getting to know your new furry friend! People wishing to go on the walk without an alpaca are charged $10 each, children under 10 are free and must be accompanied by a paying adult and the adult must be in control of the Alpaca at all times.
Cedar Glen Tea Room Wednesday to Sunday 10:30am to 2pm
Cedar Glen has a small tea room serving Tea, Plunger coffee, cold drinks, cakes and some savoury items. you are welcome to enjoy one of our home-made cakes and tea in the Cedar Glen Tea Room which is situated in the Homesteads Living room
