Robert and I wanted to let you know what a fantastic time we had on Thursday and Friday.  Your hospitality and friendliness was wonderful.  We will definitely be back again.  The children have told all their exciting stories from their stay at school yesterday.  The whip cracking and bommerang throwing were highlights for them.  We loved everything - all great!

We have been to Farmstays before, but Cedar Glen has been the BEST. The children enjoyed every aspect of the farm. We enjoyed it so much that it was sad to leave. We will definitely be booking again, and for longer. Thank you to you all. You have been wonderful hosts. (Stayed in the Dairy Cottage from the 1st to the 3rd of July)

What an amazing place to visit. We stayed at Stinson Cottage for 5 nights in February and it was the first holiday we have had in years where we actually got to relax.
We fed the animals every morning and afternoon. I took a real liking to
milking Nora the cow each morning (although one day she had escaped from her paddock, so Nigel had to round her up on his motorbike in a far away paddock) We swam at the creek each day, sat and looked out to the mountains, obscured only by horses that came each day to our cottage for shade or company or perhaps for the apples and carrots I readily provided them. I saw my son blossom in that short time from being scared of large animals to hand feeding the sheep and horses and looking forward to his daily pony ride on Nutmeg. We learned to crack a whip which I did only because my husband wanted to, and I ended up loving it -so much so that we bought a whip, and now my suburban neighbours get to hear me practising. We had the catered dinners 2 nights and they were delicious especially the deserts. I asked for
the recipe for a desert the next morning and waiting for me that night at my place at the dinner table was the recipe hand written by Sabrina. On that night it was pouring down rain and we got a call at the cottage asking if we would like to be picked up in the truck for dinner. It was only a 5 minute walk but in that rain would not have been fun. What wonderful hospitality. Thank you so much for sharing your family and your beautiful piece of this world with us. My son (aged 3) has already informed me we will be going back again soon, because Nutmeg will be missing him.

Best wishes to your family

To Nigel and all of your team
When we decided to stay at Cedar Glen we expected to have a good time with the grandchildren. We must say that our experience was far better than expected.
From the minute we arrived we felt relaxed and the children had so much to do they didn't get bored or restless. We have been to a number of different farmstays and Cedar Glen is by far the best experience yet. We feel that you have more than just a farm – you create experiences.
We have only been home a few hours and the grandchildren are all asking when they can go back. We will definitely see you for another visit next year.

Kind regards

Instantly felt relaxed once we turned up the driveway! Everything from there was a fantastic bonus of fun, relaxation, learning and enjoyment. We had such a relaxing time that was balanced with authentic farm-life experiences. Add to that, wonderful conversation with other guests, the Stephens family and staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Chris and I just want to say thankyou for a brilliant weekend.
The kids had a ball and each got so much out of the experience.  Grace loved the horse ride and the whip cracking, Bella loved the cow milking and horse ride, Jackson loved the pig feeding, the picnic and the horse ride with "nutbag" ! After we laughted we did correct him that it was "nutmeg". Can you please pass on our thanks to Rana she was wonderful and we didnt get a chance to say goodbye.
We would have no hesitation on recomending Cedar Glen to other families we know or in fact returning ourselves in the future ! Thanks again for everything.
Kind regards,
Leanne (Sunshine Coast QLD)
PS Matt the kids want to know how the wallaby is doing ?

Once again thank you for an awesome time at Cedar Glen. We loved it and our boys were just so happy. Everything was perfect and we have no complaints. It was an awesome Aussie farm stay experience and more. I don't know how many farmstays could boast about all that Cedar Glen has to offer from the peacocks, the gorgeous horses, multitude of farm animals, spectacular views, 4WDriving up the range and watching the sunset and opportunities to learn boomerang throwing, whip cracking as well as swimming in the many different spots on the farm and in the Lost World. You also made it even greater because you are the people that you are and April and Charlotte your farmhands were delightful as well. I just wish every Aussie and international visitor could experience what Cedar Glen has to offer. What you offer makes me so proud and I look forward to introducing Cedar Glen to my family and friends.

When I was leaving I did not want to go home as it was so nice to just relax and be with nature. Oh yes and I forgot, watching the stars was like looking at a cave full of glittering diamonds. Wow the Milky Way was amazing. My husband and I were in awe as we have never seen the night's sky shine so brightly with all the stars. We loved the Wallaby Cottage too as it was so nice and homey and I loved the paintings and photos that also added to its character. A big thank you and we look forward to visiting you again.

Thank you so much for a fabulous holiday starting with the 4 wheel drive tour - an exciting ride up to the viewpoint with an amazing sunset with champayne. We just loved the trail rides and the whip cracking and boomerang throwing with billy tea and damper, feeding the animals and milking Iris. It is an experience that will stay with us for years!

Dear All at Cedar Glen,

Thank you for making our weekend so memorable. Although virtually everything we did counts as a highlight of our stay, what was truly impressive was your hospitality. We really felt as is we were staying with family. We look at our photos frequently, Alice still talks about “Farmer Peter”, and Daniel dreams of driving your tractor to Sydney (with your cat)!
Everyone’s humour and patience was much appreciated and Katy’s cooking was excellent. We’ll spread the word.

The Wiltshire and Hynd Families - Brisbane, Australia – September 2009.

The Stephens family and staff members are incredibly friendly and welcoming which made us all feel ‘part of the family’. We really appreciated the way were made to feel so at home. We really enjoyed being able to stay in the Homestead – what a perfect slice of Australian history. We loved the horse riding and the champagne sunset on the cliffs.

The Capp and O’Mahony Families – Australia and the UK – September 2009

Dear Peter , Nigel, and all of the wonderful staff at Cedar Glen,
We would like to thank you for providing us with such a unique and amazing opportunity to experience one of the most beautiful natural areas in the world. The children loved feeding the animals each morning, the pony rides, the wonderful picnics by the pristine river and sitting by the open fire on a chilly night with a billion stars in the sky.The personal and caring interaction from all of the staff made this a  stay to remember for all of us. My favourite was the champagne sunset 4WD trip.
See you next year.
The Brewster Family, Australian expats from Hong Kong , 21st July 2009

Dear Nigel and Matt,. We have holidayed at several farm stays and must say that yours is definitely the best!. Not having to cook meant we relaxed and enjoyed the truly spectacular scenery and the home made food was delicious. Our daughters loved the horse riding and whip cracking, personally my favourite time was around the camp fire. Thank you so much for making our 3 night stay at Cedar Glen so memorable, please feel free to pass on our email contact if required.  Best Regards Paul Johnson and Family (WA) July 2009

Visited the farm with my extended family, including 3 young children. The kids occupied themselves with activities feeding the animals, riding the horses(mozzy and polly), and getting dirty on the farm. 3 days without any television programmes and no complaints. It was definitely the most memorable stay for them, even beating the theme parks. The boomerang session with Nigel was equally fun for the adults, and of course, his wonderful singing.
Best of all, we couldn't find any better tasting meals elsewhere, especially the caramel slices. Yum Yum.

Thank you for the wonderful stay.

“The farm was fantastic and everyone had a great time.  Nigel and his family looked after us all famously. The kids especially had a wonderful time horse riding, feeding the animals and generally getting out and about in their gum boots. We also had a great time with the billy tea and damper and whip cracking. Nigel and family are wonderful hosts and the cottages were impeccable with a beautiful Australian charm.”

Hi Nigel,

We wanted to drop you a note to say that we had enjoyed ourselves tremendously at the farm stay last week ! In fact, we could not stop talking about it when we came back home and are now feeling "homesick" as we miss the horses (especially Flicker, Mozzy and Jane Gray) and feeding the animals on the farm and staying at the beautiful cottage on the glen.

We are even planning for our next vacation at your farm next year in June as we wish to experience winter at the farm and to see the horses again !  (i miss feeding the sheep and pigs too !!) .  We intend to stay longer this time around and really soak in the atmosphere ! it has left a lasting impression on us. Many thanks to you and your family for your warm hospitality and letting us stay at the Stinson Cottage which is in our opinion, the best in the world !  (the view of the Lost World is really out of this world and we saw 2 beautiful rainbows when we were staying there as well !)

Thanks for the wonderful memories ! we will be back again soon !

Best Regards
